With our other work with student discipline, I was asked by a principal to create a report that shows all the student eligible in the area of ED who don't currently have a BIP in place. One does not necessitate the other; but, the principal felt this would be an important check to ensure levels of support were commensurate with potential level of need.
Here's a what the Results Objects and Query Filter looks like:
Use the rightmost symbol here to add a Nested Filter.
Once a Nested Filter is created, double-click on it to change it between AND & OR.
To add a break, right click the field you want to break on (in this instance, "School"), now select "Add Break" from the Break submenu.
For this report, one school per page. Organized by School.
Add the school name to the School Section. This helps with sorting and distribution later.
Plan breaks and sorts to match grain size of distribution or remediation.
In Properties -> Document, set the report to Refresh on Open.
Add a footer with "="This report was generated on: " + LastExecutionDate()"
